Henry Thom is a 10° Degree Karate Black Belt (Judan-Hanshi) certified by the International Uechi Ryu Karate Federation (IUKF). He received his original black belkt in 1967 from Master George Mattson, the pioneer of Uechi Ryu Karate in the USA. Mr. Thom is currently serving as Chairman of the IUKF Advisory Board.
Albert Cloutier, founder of the Honolulu Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do Club, considers himself extremely fortunate to have Master Henry Thom as his sensei, mentor, and friend.
